Kia Ora Everyone,
This is a reminder that we are having a shared lunch and you are invited to join us! This is to celebrate our learning about Healthy Eating this term.
We kindly ask for your support in this celebration of healthy eating by bringing in or sending to school a healthy lunch option that your child can share with others in the hub. For example, cheese and onion muffins, fruit kebabs or vegetables sticks with a healthy dip. We recommend that you only make enough to fill a normal sized dinner plate. Teachers will be providing a healthy smoothie option for the children.
The foods we have been learning about include spinach, onion, salmon, mushrooms, oranges, cauliflower, carrots and rice. It would be wonderful if you could incorporate one of these into your food but it is not compulsory.
We will eat inside the Pukeko Hub from within our home groups and share the food that everyone has made. We recommend that you also send lunch to school with your child in their lunch box in case they do not want to eat the food provided.
